Property Planning

The program began in 2006 with a pilot group of 14 landholders who undertook the farm-planning workshops offered by the Western Institute of TAFE and were subsidised through the BIG project. The Western Institute of TAFE was been accredited as a farm-planning provider for the Lachlan CMA.  In 2007, a further 14 farmers completed the course, with 2008 seeing 25 landholders participating whilst the pilot group progressed their skills and knowledge through study of Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management. Prograze, a NSW Department of Primary Industry course designed to improve grazing management practices was also undertaken in 2007/2008 by 13 landholders.
